Beverley took on the role of Station Manager in November 2001, but has been with Pirate FM since March 1994 when she joined as a Media Consultant. She is passionate about radio and ensuring that we deliver the very best product we can to our listeners and in turn our advertisers. Her proudest moment was picking up the Sony Gold Award for the Station of the Year in May 2003.
James martin
Born and bred in Cornwall James started with Pirate FM on a Listener Advisory Board. After much pestering he joined the Pirate Crew presenting the Saturday Night Show. From there, James moved around presenting every slot possible at the weekends before finally settling into the Saturday Morning Show 10am to 2pm and the Sunday Breakfast Show. He can often be found reporting live from community events throughout the South West.
Ian Palmear
Ian started his career training to be a journalist. After being asked to do a show at the last minute Ian realised his potential as a presenter and we haven't been able to shut him up since.. Ian presents the Lunchtime show from 1pm, plus he works in our production department making all kinds of exciting bits for on air competitions. If he hasn't got a good sound effect in his production tool kit then it's not available.
